The Government of Solidarity signs a Friendly Exchange Agreement with the county of Xiangshan, China,
giving continuity to the work carried out by the Administration.Successful experiences related to quality
in attention to tourism and the environment, among others, will be shared.
During the signing of the agreement, the Municipal President of Solidarity, Samaria Angulo Sala, said
that this alliance will favor the work together to put both cities at the forefront of development and
modernity, “taking care of our natural heritage and promoting the integration of cultures, “he stressed.
He also pointed out that Solidaridad will contribute its experience in terms of quality service to
visitors as an international tourism power, while Xiangshan will provide its expertise in the industry
of power generation and proper management of sargasso.

On behalf of this city, the Head of the County of Xiangshan, China, Huanli Huang, celebrated
that this agreement will allow the exchange of projects and ideas that will benefit the municipality,
by accessing the historical experience.
The exchange was also attended by the Finance Director of Xiangshan, Don Liansheng, as well as
authorities and members of the Chinese business community as the Director of the village office,
Sheng Yerong; the Mayor of the village of Sizhoutou of Xiangshan County, Cai Zhennian, and the
Executive President of the Chamber of Investment and International Trade Yangtze River Mexico-China
AC, Bao Roling.
On behalf of Playa del Carmen, the meeting was attended by: the President of the Business
Coordinating Council (CCE) of the Riviera Maya, María Elena Mata Pineda; the President of the Mexican
Association of Women Entrepreneurs (AMMJE), Adriana Bravo Mena; the President of the National Chamber
of Commerce, Services and Tourism (CANACO-Servytur), José Luis Hernández Barragán; by the National
Chamber of the Restaurant Industry and Seasoned Foods (CANIRAC), Manuel García, as well as municipal
councilors and officials.
